@crertel Paul has contemplated support for true arrays/vectors as we can use MLIR optimizations on those types then. It might be something worth coordinating with #pelemay to support in the general high performance working group.

@getlumen any chance we'll be opening the door for Lumen to offer better APIs/native datatypes down the road? For example, better support for numerical work. BEAM's implementations of lists of numbers is not good for modern SIMD techniques iirc.
