I hope you are correct. My concern is the fact that TDS is a major illness in California. Just mention anything about the President and these people go nuts. I hope his endorsement doesn't hurt your chances. I know several people here in California who will automatically vote against anything they think Trump supports. To them they believe that Trump is evil and everything MAGA is evil. When I ask them why I always get an illogical emotional outburst filled with untrue rhetoric. I have given up trying to have rational discussions with them.

I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of our President, Donald J Trump. The Democrat machine arrogantly assumes it will rule forever. Well they're in for a shock: Californians are desperate for change, and I will work harder than you've ever seen, for everyone in our beautiful state, to make it happen. Golden Again. ✊☀️🇺🇸

If true it sort of proves that it isn't about guns. It's about how we handle the few evil people who are in our society. Most people are good only some are pure evil. Taking the evil off our streets makes a huge difference. Protect and defend the second amendment and get rid of the liberal prosecutors and judges instead!

Leadership matters

This is a perfect example of how asinine our Senate rules are. This is why our country is failing. We have the most incompetent and over paid loosers running the Legislative Branch of our country. @LeaderJohnThune do your job! Get the @SenateDems and @SenateGOP working on compromises. Stop the bureaucratic nightmare that is preventing progress. Thank you @senjohnkennedyn for trying to do the right thing. If the Senate wants to shut down all or part of the government then they shouldn't get paid until they find a way to pay other federal employees. It's the only fair thing to do unless we really are living on Animal Farm.

🚨 JUST IN: Sen. John Kennedy is in total shock after Dem Sen. Schatz blocked his resolution to prevent senator pay during federal shutdowns — and then FLEEING THE CHAMBER So he basically told TSA workers "SCREW YOU" and didn't have the GUTS to face them! COWARD!!

Since Congress can't pass a bill that 80% of the American Citizens want we need to ask the question who does Congress work for? The craziest thing about the Voter ID debate is that it's an issue at all. In the rest of the world showing ID is an administrative requirement, not a political stance. The fact Congress can't enact a policy with 80% public support shows how broken things are.

Democrats’ shutdown is harming hardworking Americans and putting national security in jeopardy. There is no time for Democrats’ political games. Republicans are at the table and ready to work whenever Democrats are done playing.

You need to check the polling on this issue. The Democrats have brainwashed the public into believing that the fault is 100% the Republicans. Exploiting TSA officers for political purposes is irresponsible & dangerous—their work is critical to protecting our homeland & national security. Travel is disrupted nationwide, wait times hit 3+ hours, & our brave men & women of TSA are working without pay thanks to Democrats.

You need to do a better job of letting the public know that it is the Democrats in the Senate that are causing this. A lot of people still believe in (with the help of our corrupt media) and blame the Republicans since they "control" the House, the Senate and the Presidency. They don't understand the rules of the Senate. You need a simple message like "with 7 Democrat votes in the Senate we can reopen the Department of Homeland Security. Without the support of at least 7 Democrats the TSA, Coastguard, and FEMA will remain closed." Get the mainstream media and press outlets to publish your message.

It is time for Democrats to end the DHS Shutdown. @TSA officers are not the only ones paying the price, Americans across the country are facing HOURS LONG wait times at airports.

You proved my point! It takes 60 votes to get Cloture in the Senate. Cloture must happen before a bill can be voted on. Without Cloture nothing happens. Republicans have 53 votes. The Democrats are holding America hostage. It would only take 7 of them to fix the mess we are in with Homeland Security. The Democrats are holding a gun to America's head until their demands are met. The brainwashing media isn't reporting that properly.

In this state people don't think, they just believe the lies they are told in the media and vote like mindless sheepeople. You are up against a tough opponent.
