I have been dutifully corresponding with the Japanese.
I placed a discussion about Hiroshima and Nagasaki on ice after one participant suggested, quite shockingly in my opinion, that if it were ethical to drop the nuke to stop the war, it would be ethical to nuke all humans and prevent all war, in one grand act of total genocide.
I did not find this line of reasoning convincing—but it did make me uncomfortable, and it seemed prudent to chew on it for a day or two before responding.

I’m entirely in favor of a law making wearing a mask in public without a documented medical reason a misdemeanor and believe such a law would have broad bi-partisan support. I want these guys unmasked as much as I want Antifa unmasked, no one ever wore a mask like this to do good
