I saw a snake in my room. Instead of killing it, I threw it into my children’s room, and when they got bitten, I punished them for it. Would anyone call that love, justice, or wisdom? So why is that logic acceptable when applied to God and evil?

So I came across a story about Jesus Christ He walks up to a fig tree looking for fruit. It wasn’t even the season. There was nothing on it. Then he curses it and it withers. This doesn’t sound like a parable. It’s a direct action in Gospel of Mark and Gospel of Matthew. Why be angry at a tree for not doing what it wasn’t created to do at that time? That sounds like a human reaction, not something divine.
