people act as though capitalism is a zero sum game, but it’s actually the only system that creates positive sum outcomes
the average person today is far richer than most kings in days past

@GalacticDrac @ArthurMacwaters Simple generalization from a simple minded person.
English

@ArthurMacwaters Only a MAGA supporting dipshit could look at 3.5 billion people(about 45% of world population) living on less than $6.85 a day($200 a month) and say "look at how many rich people we have nowadays".
Complete and utter sociopaths.

@NFLNumbersGuy Patriots have been in the SB in five decades - 85, 96, 01, 03, 04, 07, 11, 14, 16, 17, 18, 25.
TB is also 2-0 in SB.

BREAKING 🚨
The Eagles are trading 3x Pro Bowl WR A.J. Brown to the New York Jets in exchange for two 1st round picks, plus a 3rd round pick in 2027 that could become a 2nd
The Patriots, who had been hoping to acquire Brown, will now have to face him twice a year while the Jets get their missing piece

Right. Let’s just pause there for a second!
Iran is not Germany in 1936. Iran cannot invade Poland. Iran does not have a mechanised army rolling toward the English Channel. Iran has ballistic missiles, a few proxy militias, and an economy that looks like a particularly sad car boot sale.
The actual country currently occupying sovereign European territory, bombing civilian infrastructure and being actively assisted by the largest nuclear power on earth is Russia. And the man who just decided to stop arming the people fighting it is sitting in the Oval Office.
If you’re looking for your 1936 moment, it already happened. It was called February 2022. And half of the people now invoking the Holocaust to talk about Iran spent that year arguing we shouldn’t provoke Moscow.
Europe isn’t looking away from Iran. Europe is watching Washington hand Russia the wheel.
That’s your history lesson.
English

Today, Iran has replaced Germany as a frightening threat, and, incredibly, Europe still looks away, apparently not absorbing the fact that at least 50 million human beings died because evil was ignored in 1936. billoreilly.com/b/Accepting-Ev…

@librtynjust4all @AmericaPapaBear Reckless behavior? Looks intentional to me.
English

@AmericaPapaBear That's not just abuse. That's a significant mental disorder. Very reckless behavior in front of a child, and attempting grave physical harm. She needs an institution.

🚨 Do you understand what just happened?
A guy in Florida asked ChatGPT to sell his house. Not help him sell it. SELL IT. Pricing, Marketing, Showings, Contract.. Everything.
Sold in 5 days.
The average real estate agent takes 6% commission. On a $400K house that's $24,000. For what? Putting it on Zillow and sending you emails?
This man paid $20 a month for ChatGPT and did the whole thing from his couch.
Real estate agents spent 20 years telling you the process is too complicated for normal people. That you need a professional. That the paperwork is too risky without them.
It was gatekept.
And a chatbot just kicked the gate open..
Lawyers are next, Accountants are next, Financial advisors are next.. Every profession that made you feel stupid so you'd pay them is about to get the same treatment.
The middleman economy is dying. And it's not dying because AI is smarter than them.. It's dying because AI proved you were always smart enough to do it yourself. You just weren't allowed to..
Dexerto@Dexerto
Florida man sold his house in just 5 days after letting ChatGPT handle the entire process instead of a real estate agent The AI handled pricing, marketing, showings, and even helped draft the contract

@NFL_DovKleiman Clown list, bro. Skattebo above Taylor and Cook? No Barkley?

@AlBuffalo2nite And a 3rd group unquestionably accepts the mainstream media narrative without doing any independent thinking. There are sheep, critical thinkers, and detached groups.
English

Does anyone else feel like there are two completely different realities right now?
On X… people are watching events unfold in real time.
War developments… economic data… policy debates… global shifts.
Then you walk outside, talk to people in everyday life, and it feels like none of it exists to them.
No awareness.
No curiosity.
No sense that major things are happening in the world.
It’s like two parallel conversations are taking place at the same time.
One group is tracking information constantly.
Another group is completely disconnected from it.
So I’m genuinely curious…
Is this just the nature of social media concentrating news and discussion in one place…
Or are most people simply too busy living their lives to follow what’s happening?
What do you think?

Zach Ertz is 11 receptions away from becoming the Eagles’ all-time receiving leader
If Goedert leaves, bring Zach home, then draft another TE
It saves money at the position, and Ertz can have his farewell tour as an Eagle 🦅

Tom Pelissero@TomPelissero
Three-time Pro Bowl TE Zach Ertz plans to play a 14th NFL season and is expected to be cleared right around Week 1, per sources. Ertz is 2 months into rehab from a torn ACL. He ranks 5th in catches and 8th in yards among TE in NFL history, including 50-504-4 in 13 games in 2025.
