@HardTalkZw This is nothing wrong with that. It is part of Zimra audit process and a way of fighting corruption in the institution. Btw, corruption involves two or more people - unruly zimra official, agent and importer. Most of the time, agent is the initiator. Zvinongorwadza kana wabatwa.

This is one of the most corrupt service providers. Vehicles are cleared, registered, and issued with number plates, yet owners are later stopped on the road and told that duty was not paid. Such a situation reflects a shocking level of incompetence and mismanagement.

Dear Honourable Minister @MhonaFelix , More than a month ago, I posed the question to @zinaraZW and tagged @MinistryofTID as to why fully registered Zimbabwean vehicles that would have temporarily been exported from Zimbabwe, have to pay a US$9 road access fee upon re-entry through Zimbabwean borders and none of them have bothered to respond to this very pertinent question, perhaps because they have no plausible explanation to justify this apparent outrageous ’road access fee’. As the responsible Minister, I implore you to cause the person who handles the Ministry’s X account to respond or cause this road access fee to be done away with completely, should there be no justification found for it, as I and many other fellow citizens strongly suspect that to be the case. I thank you in advance.
