Ok I’m gonna try the Citristrip method of “etching” a powder coated can cooler. I resisted cause I own an air eraser but that’s a lot of hassle. Now I apparently I need a heat gun for this. Any suggestions for type/brand? @LumberLaw @jgoode @donttrythis ? #makerquestion

@bupedev Agreed! I still have an older Explore Air so I can watch the pen touch the paper without the bar in the way. A side angle camera is where I go with the newer machines... I bet this design would look incredible with the emboss/engraving tips too!

@jgoode I’ve been considering setting one up for the next one I do, although it won’t be as satisfying as watching some of the fancier plotting machines. It draws from top to bottom and feeds the mat through itself, so you’ll never really get to clearly see the progress as it draws.
