The port of St. Petersburg has just been struck by dozens of drones, each carrying tons of explosives. The strikes were precise and powerful. Within minutes, eight ships in the port were ablaze, including a large landing ship, two tankers, and several military support vessels. Flames rose dozens of meters into the air, and thick black smoke covered the entire sky over the city. The explosions were heard even in the city center.

Background: Orbán is an entrenched but wildly unpopular oligarch and authoritarian. He is facing an election that he will decisively lose — unless he can manage some trick. This obvious false flag (which he will now blame on Ukraine) should not fool anyone. It should only remind us that other people in similar situations (I mean Trump) will have similar thoughts. See my essay from yesterday on "The Next Coup Attempt."

🚨BREAKING: Russia’s major Black Sea fleet port of Novorossiysk has suffered one of the most extensive attacks of the war. Russian air defense seems to have either failed or was largely nonexistent — WOW.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 THIS is what “strategic depth” looks like now Russia isn’t winning, it’s literally burning behind its own lines Bashneft-Novoil in Ufa, one of the key refineries feeding fuel into the system, now lighting up the sky, hundreds of kilometers from the front That’s the thing, distance doesn’t protect anymore, when assets this deep start going up, it hits supply, transport, revenue, everything at once Call it “regional news” if you want, but every fire like this chips away at the engine keeping the war running

Elections in Hungary are a global challenge for Russia. The fight for Viktor Orban's victory is a true existential politial war for Russia. Orban's defeat would mean losing control over Central and Eastern Europe for Russia. That would mean to breaking up the construct Russia has spent years building. If Orban remains in power, Russia would be able to influence negotiations both with the EU and US, including negotiations about Ukraine. Thus, Russian political strategists and Russian special services, equipped with Russian money, will do anything they can to provide victory for Orban. Their actions are directed at changing the dynamics of the elections race - according to polls, opposition Tisza party is ahead of the currently leading Fidesz party. Looks like the closer to election day, the more dangerous their actions and methods will become. Election day in Hungary is exactly one week from now, on April 12.

Two weeks ago, the Hungarian opposition was bracing for a false flag operation, an "emergency" that would allow Viktor Orban to turn the tide or even cancel an election he is losing. Now it appears to have arrived

67,000 arrests. Violent crime arrests up 100%+. 1,800 gangs dismantled. Murder and robbery rates dropping to historic lows. We put 1,000 agents back in the field, backed our cops, and went to work — because Donald Trump lets good cops be cops. Criminals are on notice. We’re not slowing down.

JD Vance is heading to Hungary to endorse Viktor Orban. Here is a description of the corrupt regime, and the bizarre, post-reality campaign, that the US administration now supports: theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/03/…

🇪🇺🇩🇪 German Foreign Minister calls to end unanimity in EU foreign & security policy. The veto has become a weapon, used to stall and weaken Europe. Using qualified majority instead will make the EU more democratic, freer and stronger. Abolish the veto.

A large group of C-17 military transport aircraft of the US Air Force is crossing the Atlantic and heading towards the Middle East, according to data from Flightradar24. C-17s are used for transporting personnel, heavy weapons, and armored vehicles. This is one of the largest aerial troop deployments since the beginning of the war. Trump is not about to exit the conflict.
