A thread on public procurement...For the last 5 years, Camden have been on a journey towards mission-driven government. Following on from the launch of our Community Wealth Fund, we have been working with @IIPP to explore mission-driven procurement /1





The change challenges we face are typically complex & the change is hard to "manage". So we often break them down into multiple projects that are owned by different teams. But this can create more complexity as we try to coordinate different views, processes & stakeholder needs across project boundaries. Systems thinking can help us to see the big picture, to understand how our choices impact on the wider system & to come up with different approaches.
