One time I was looking for a roommate, the coursemate I was considering fell sick, so I went to her place. As I went on to do one or two, twas a total mess, I could tell it wasn't just a threeday illness that made the house look that way, the sink alone looked like months of neglect. I did what I could, but I already knew we wouldn't be a good pair. I went home that day and kept ruminating, glad I went to hers before she moved in. My mistake was not telling her afterward that I was no longer interested, I didn't want to bring it up at the time, later became late.
