In Nigeria marriage space of today, irresponsible husbands are the most feared and respected, their women love them like that, women don’t divorce them, they’re the older version of abusive boyfriend, women stick with them. They are also the ones that practice polygyny the most, they have about 2 wives at home and baby mamas they probably sent away. They also live longer, you’ll see them in their 80s, under the trees in the neighbourhood playing ludo or draft. All this 50/50 conversations doesn’t concern them, they come back home at night, eat food they didn’t drop money for and still have sex.
