Life update here: Last week marked the end of my time at Ai2. Proud to have built releases like Olmo, Tülu, FlexOlmo, DRTulu, OLMoTrace, OlmoE, and datasets including Dolma and Dolci—and of how strongly we pushed for open models and open science. Our artifacts reached 33M+ downloads, including ~4M for Olmo 3. I believe Olmo has empowered researchers to push the boundaries of AI I’ll always be cheering on Ai2 and will continue to strongly support open-source, open-science AI. I’m deeply grateful for this chapter and excited for what comes next.

@loeff @Waymo @Tesla Bueno, pero la sensación hoy es que un médico que no consulta con la IA especializada o una institución que no le provea IA a sus médicos para el día a día está incumpliendo con su mandato de brindar la mejor salud posible a sus afiliados

No se que podré haber hecho para merecer estar en el mismo hilo de @frascafrasca que Arquímedes y Borges. Para probar que fue un error, un par de comentarios:

@marcel_mordezki @Waymo @Tesla 💯de acuerdo, pero no comparan con GPT-5 + médico entrenado en usarlo. Las pruebas usadas son múltiple opción; la realidad es más compleja en general. La sección de discusión se parece a la de AIME también.

@marcel_mordezki @Waymo @Tesla Por otro lado es espectacular para pacientes en lugares remotos o sin acceso a médicos.

@marcel_mordezki @Waymo @Tesla 100%. Por eso me gusta la combinación. Mientras que los LLMs tengan problemas como alucinaciones/confabulaciones, errores de “razonamiento”, etc, no me parece ético ofrecerlo al paciente solo.

@marcel_mordezki A largo plazo estoy de acuerdo contigo, aunque me parece que falta mucho aún. Como los auto autónomos, que básicamente funcionaban en 2015: recién ahora @Waymo los tiene andando solos, pero en pocas ciudades. @Tesla se pasa prometiendo que van a ser autónomos pero nunca lo hace.

@marcel_mordezki Probablemente los doctores del estudio no tienen experiencia en como usar una herramienta con AMIE, es estudio trata sobre un aspecto de ser doctor solamente, los LLMs pueden alucinar, etc.
