Ethos is one of the sneakiest farming machines I’ve seen in this space They are not chasing your money They are chasing something more valuable. Your credibility… For free… They’re pushing hard to become the No1 reputation platform for Web3 creators. “Build your onchain credibility” “Get verified by peers” But let’s ask the obvious question: Why should other creators, most of whom barely even engage with your content, get to decide your reputation? Your reputation has never been decided by a small group of people in a bubble. It’s decided by your audience. The people who like, reply, retweet, buy your stuff, join your calls, and stick around for months and years. That’s real proof. That’s the only score that has ever mattered. CT is already a small bubble. Now zoom into the active Ethos user base, even smaller. A handful of “high rep” creators get to rate, verify, vouch, and slash??? That’s not decentralization That’s gatekeeping with a fancier name. - Creators rating other creators - Creators verifying each other as real humans - Onchain scores that are supposed to define your future brand What happens when a tight group of scammers, and we’ve all seen them, start coordinating reviews, vouching for each other, and boosting each other’s scores while burying real builders? This is a perfect setup for collusion. I even remember when @serpinxbt generalized about Nigerians, repeatedly calling them farmers when talking about airdrop activity and low average spend in the space. Now that same person is building the platform that is trying to position itself as the number one reputation system in CT, where creators rate each other, verify who’s human, and decide your onchain credibility. This is not making any sense… How can a founder who already looks at certain communities like that to be trusted to run the system that judges everyone’s reputation? This is the real farming play They want you believing your entire brand only matters inside their tiny bubble, while real builders (including big accounts who don’t even touch Ethos) keep winning with their actual audience. Your engagement, your results, and your loyal followers say more than any Ethos score ever could. - They make you believe your credibility only exists inside their platform. - They get you grinding reviews, bonds, verifications, and scores while they build their network and set themselves up to make money off the same creators they claim to be helping. You don’t need Ethos!!! Stop letting a small onchain group decide what your reputation is worth. - Show up consistently for your audience - Deliver real value - Build real relationships That’s the only reputation system that always matters. Your real supporters, the ones who actually engage with you, are the ones who decide your brand’s future. Not a platform trying to make itself the new gatekeeper while farming us all. Your audience was always enough, and will forever be.
