Christians will never read the Bible with a comprehensive lens. They always take their presuppositions with them, about univocality and inerrancy.

@oliverburdick The Bible and it’s not even close. The worst thing that ever happened to Christianity was widespread literacy. It’s full of false claims and fantastical claims that have no evidence aside from 2nd hand testimony years after the events. Failed prophecy and immoral commands.
