@OctopusEnergy @agile_phil Interested to know your plans on the bidirectional DFS coming in April. They talk about using EV, HeatPump etc to get involved. I guess you can only do so much, the vendor like @myenergiuk or Valiant need to have APIs to support it too :)

To be clear. I appreciate ashp prefer constant temps, that’s the plan but I would like to set the temp of the room (and get other Tado stats) rather than setting it to ‘5’ and hoping that’s right :)

I would do (b) if I discover it’s actually going to cost me a fair bit to upgrade

@_heatgeek can I do a design consultation with you guys (pay for it obviously) and then either (a) proceed because it won’t cost me anything after the grant (b) wait until I need to replace the boiler if I don’t need to replace my boiler now?

@_heatgeek What is your view on @tado and Heat Pumps? Currently going through consultation with a HeatGeek installer and wondering if I (a) keep my Tado TRVs to just control radiators (b) get the Tado optimiser (c) remove it all.

@thameswater How can I go about requesting a smart meter? I currently have a water meter but it’s a ‘dumb’ one. Would love to integrate it into my home assistant setup

@ecovacsrobotics could we add a feature to add sub areas to a room? I want to be able to tell the t50 to clean just round the dining table rather than the whole of the kitchen
