I have multiple irons on the fire regarding Swalwell! The video you all have now seem to nauseam is longer and shows a much deeper and troublesome truth! As soon as I get it I won’t waste a second on putting it out! When I was in Congress I used to talk to Staff and reporters on the Hill a lot. During that time I learned about the activities taking place in the “cages” which are the storage rooms in the basement of the House office buildings. I reported it to House Admin Chair at the time Brian Steil and he did NOTHING. I don’t support Savannah Hernandez (@Savsays) or the kind of propaganda she pushes with Turning Point USA. I’ve been critical of it and will continue to be. The vast majority of today’s protest was peaceful and went off without issues, with people showing up to make their voices heard. What happened later shouldn’t have happened. Savannah was filming, not engaging with anyone, and it escalated into a physical confrontation that ultimately gave law enforcement a reason to step in and declare an unlawful assembly, shutting the entire protest down. I’ve dealt with this myself. I’ve been confronted, had equipment damaged, and even had right wing agitators show up at my doorstep to threaten me. All I do is film. It’s not fun, and it doesn’t make anything better. I’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating. During the height of Metro Surge, I let emotions take over in a moment involving a right wing propagandist and gave them exactly what they wanted. I got in their face, and I regret that. I have learned from it. My anger is better directed at the elite and powerful and not its pawns. We’re all human, and tensions are high as hell in this country right now. If the goal is to be heard, this is the worst possible outcome. It hands people like her exactly the narrative they’re looking for and undermines everyone who showed up in good faith.

It was cool when it happened to Jake Lang because he’s a convicted domestic terrorist, not a journalist, and he came to Minneapolis to incite violence and nothing else Savannah might work for a terrible organization producing propaganda that destroys minds but she’s a 5 foot nothing little woman and I do not support violence on women at all period no matter who it is and even as a ‘journalist’ she has a right to do that shit. She really wasn’t even bothering anyone most of the time she was there. She was probably bored until some gave her exactly what she wanted. I’ve covered Eric Swawell since he was a member of the Dublin City Council. Shortly after being elected to Congress in 2013, his behavior towards women was known by all levels of our local government and the Alameda County Democratic Party.

You know what would be amazing if Vance and his team can negotiate an agreement where Iran doesn't enrich above 3.67% (far below weapons grade); gets rid of 98% of its stockpile of enriched uranium; has weekly inspections by the IAEA; keeps the straits open without charging anyone; and commits to all of this for at least ten years. Oh, yeah, that was the Obama Iran deal.
