Without a doubt, Direct is one of the most successful ONC efforts. From inception, and continuing thru today, Direct messaging is the easiest way for healthcare providers on different EHRs to easily exchange clinical records, attachments, images, and unstructured notes.

Hello Everyone, this is Libby's husband, Jerit (JR). I am unbelievably saddened to report that Libby passed away yesterday. She was peaceful when she went, and her family was with her during her time in hospital.

This is such a terrible tragedy and it unfortunately supports some very damning data. Black women are 3x more likely to die in childbirth than their white peers, and while economic disparities are an issue, it is public health crisis largely created by the fact Black women are often mistreated in the health care industry.
