Did you? Shes way more abrasive in the remake. Colder. Rude. More dismissive. Unprofessional. Angsty. Inconsistent and inferior portrayal to the original Jill writing and acting.

I see people constantly say RE3R Jill is mean, rough and untrusting. Did yall ever play the original RE3? I think what people get confused by is the OG had limited time to expand characters, everything was quick, but for its time it was great. The remake has the chance to build upon what was made before it. More time to develop on Jill’s anger of Umbrella and the trauma she went through, her unwillingness to trust Carlos and Mikhail at first, there’s a lot of similarities and the remake, despite how you feel about it, did a great job at expanding on her and Carlos in this game.

she goes from a sharp, determined cop w/occasional moments of hot bloodedness to someone that's such an angry knucklehead you wonder how she got in the army
and who was noted in universe for her "resilience, courage, and discernment amid danger."

@bugoidk @DeanGagaKennedy Leon and Claire are quite identical to OG compared to Jill situation. She's a complete new character. Not only they changed her default outfit, but they made her into a "modern strong bossy woman" archetype.
