Very interesting take that goes against prevailing analysis. But the fact is the system in Iran is not built on accountability, not even within the regime’s various branches. It is unlikely the IRGC will be held accountable. If Hezbollah can serve as a miniature example, the party has tightened his grip following each devastating adventure.
