@HeroDividend I had a boss like this once. It didn’t matter if all of the scheduled work and then some had been completed, we had to sit there for no reason until it was time to clock out. Needless to say- that place had super high turnover

@NoContextHumans This will never happen in our lifetime. The US can't even manage it's above-ground roads.

@AtemPsyche @DearS_o_n best advice I ever got from a mentor was "the biggest mistake we make in life is assuming we have more time"

Living with urgency.
You don't have as much time as you think you do. The days are long but the decades are short. You blink and decades will pass you by.
Make this your new mantra:
Do it now. Do it now. Do it now.
If something can be done in the present, there is absolutely no reason to wait. Delay is the enemy. Urgency must become second nature -- especially for the things that truly matter.
Act as if hesitation could cost you everything, as if inaction would lead to irreversible loss.
Picture the worst-case scenario if you don’t move now -- the kind of regret you’d carry for years.

@hthieblot Hey Hubert- I built inb. Basically its branded smart portals that any biz, freelancer, or creator can use as a smart intake form for their brand. Train it on your site/docs + connect to a subdomain in ~60 secs. Would love some thoughts. Just shipped!

@kaifyreed This will burn you at some point when you lose a client from it. Honesty and self-awareness are 2 different things.

Hiring GenZ is weird.
His first week in the team.
I get a message 24 hours before the deadline.
"Please extend the project deadline, I need more time."
The client wanted to know if everything was okay.
He replied
"I've got dinner today, and I will complete this tomorrow"
I just kept staring at the message.
No Grandpa died.
No Project file corrupted.
Just plain last-minute dinner plans.
And he's been my favorite employee since.
Not because missing deadlines is cool.
But because we value honesty more than anything else.
Most people would've ghosted for hours before giving a silly excuse, and this guy says the truth without blinking.
And I kind of admire it.
How would you react if this happened to you?
