A draft name I’m looking at closer after today going into Thursday night… Cowboys HC Brian Schottenheimer mentioned how the former college coaches on staff will be able to apply knowledge they have from recruiting players in this draft class out of high school. One name immediately jumped to my mind: Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka. WRs coach Junior Adams recruited Egbuka in 2020 while he was 50 miles from his hometown of Steilacoom at the University of Washington. Egbuka on Adams at combine: “He’s awesome. I love talking to him. And we stayed connected all four years I was in college.” Adams also coached Egbuka’s high school receivers coach at Eastern Washington in 2009-2013.
