@TansuYegen Square root of 9 is 7. Square root of 18 is 7. Square root of 27 is 7. Square root of 36 is 7. . . This method is amazing.

@jasonrmcintyre Pip's on ball defense was better than Jordan, but not by a lot. Jordan was elite off the ball on defense. One thing people miss talking about players then playing today, Jordan with freedom of movement on defense would be crazy. KD's never been that guy.

@Hitchslap1 Truth is you don't know how many calories you actually burn. You estimate it. Different people burn calories at different rates. So the estimates we make can be wrong. Again, no one knows the exact amount of calories they burn. You can do the math right and still be wrong.

@Alex_Kozora How about any touchback or kick out of bounds goes to the 35, unless you kick it through the uprights. Do that and they get it at the 20. That is what I want to see. That would be fun.

Someone must need to explain this to me like I'm 5, because I don't see how this addresses the loophole. Which is kicking the ball out of bounds (in front of the goal line). This only references OOB *behind* the goal line.
Nick Korte@nickkorte

2026 Playing Rule Proposal #2 is obvious to implement. Multiple head coaches were exploiting this loophole last season.

@qpe It's a very simple equation facing a boxer. Don't put yourself where they can hit you. Problem is those fuckers move really fast, and they know a lot of tricks to get you where they can hit you.

@bigsportscasual Those post moves aren't winning like they did then. He'd pivot into a double team, he couldn't take seconds in the post to beat someone. He maximized his ability to succeed in his NBA. Not today's NBA.

@kenswift People who don't understand basketball want basketball to be different than it is. Want a winning strategy to look different than it is. Blame coach for living in the real world and winning. Why didn't Steph White change the rules so fans could see the game they wanted to see?

Can’t imagine coaching a team that lost half its players to injury, including your biggest star player, winning a commissioners cup and getting within an inch of the finals, only to be called the problem. SMH.
Code.E.Banx@Code_E_Banx

I knew I wasn't alone on this. The majority of the Fever fanbase can see the obvious. Coach White is the problem. To be fair it's her asking w/ Kelly & Amber. I wish the ownership team would recognize the problem. These ladies are hurting, not helping CC and the Fever squad

@cc22report The owners basically admitted they were creating the losses with this agreement. Crazy how well they worked the issue. Those investments into unrivaled to create leverage paid off.

The funny thing about all these announcements is to watch all the people who for months have very confidently (and very wrongly) posted things like, "The WNBA doesn't make any money lololololol you can't pay anyone if you're bankrupt lololol" Because now they are seeing all these new numbers, and instead of going, gee, maybe I was wrong, maybe my information was not correct, maybe I need to get some more current information They are all just going "OMG lololol how can you afford this the league will go bankrupt in one year now lololol the most financially unviable move ever lololol" No sense of self awareness at all with these people

@cc22report The rookies missed the training camps. They had no experience playing Fiba at that level. It wasn't about CC or any of the others. And frankly, CC needed the break with her team. They did much better with her after that break.

I cannot repeat this enough This organization explicitly stated she was NOT EVEN GOOD ENOUGH TO MAKE THE TEAM less than 2 years ago and she's been perpetually injured since then What exactly happened that she's magically good enough now to be the centerpiece Oh, that's right, nothing happened She's always been good enough

@cc22report There is a reason those PGs don’t exist anymore. With zone principles allowed, it is too easy to shut down one attack point. Ball movement beats a ball dominant PG.

Wow I don't think I've ever accidentally started/restarted a Twitter dustup before, this is cool And frankly I'd rather have this whole on ball/off ball discussion any day of the week instead of the normal, non basketball discussions My position is and always has been, not that Caitlin should never ever ever play off the ball, I even said in the video that there are certain circumstances in which her playing off ball is the correct move My position also is not that she should never learn to do it, it is a good tool for her to have in her toolbag My position was always that every possession she is off ball is a possession in which the choice is being made to run the offense non optimally, and depending on who is on the ball, sometimes VERY non optimally So if you're gonna do it you'd better have a good reason for it

@DBGyt_ A 2026 team in 1996 would have so many violations. Carry’s, illegal defense? The game would be embarrassing

A .500 NBA team from 2026 would beat most NBA teams from 1996 by 30+ points... And I'm being generous by saying 30... No, you can't put in a player from 1996 with the exact knowledge/skillset they had at the time and argue they would average 50...

@dduckett10 @YoitsRosie She grabbed a rebound. She found her outlet. She threw the ball to her outlet. That's fundamental. It's basic. It's right. I can't even begin to fathom the lack of basketball knowledge and self-awareness to watch that clip and say it is a player going rogue.

Because Reese is not a guard with the dribble or passing skills. Reese just tried to take over the game, I don’t think it was against CC in general, she just looks out of control. Yes it’s messing the flow because of out of control. First game was team play. 2nd game is a mess since not playing as a team

@BrettKollmann There was a time where currency was physical. Stockpiling physical currency was a great way to get killed. Or the king showed up to tell you about this fantastic new war you were going to fund. So the rich built things. Now they just turn their money digital and stockpile it.
