Today marks 600 games in charge of The Spartans for Douglas Samuel. Kicking off on 08/08/2012 with a 3-0 win over Coldstream in the EOS Qualifying League, The Gaffer has been at the helm that has seen the Club go on a remarkable journey from the East of Scotland League to SPFL.

Utterly brilliant night out last night watching the tour de force that is Danny Baker @prodnose hold court at the Queens Hall. Stories and tales galore. If you haven't seen him live or read his books both highly recommended.

So glad Scotland qualified automatically - playoffs are a nightmare and as Italy have shown a daft red card can be almost fatal. Down to pens in Prague.
