We've been using this in our own workflow at work. Fundamentally, we built this for ourselves. The design tool we want needs to cover 3 core workflows: 1. Direct Manipulation: Design on your real app instead of going back and forth with a separate canvas tool. 2. Intent-Aware Agents: AI that applies your design edits and understands whether you're working at the component or page level. 3. Designer-friendly Git: We think it will be easier if everyone use the same collaboration tool: Git. But it needs to make Git intuitive for designers with auto commits, PRs, and workspaces.

after talking to several designers, most of them are still scared of using terminal interfaces so building the chat wrapper on top of the claude code terminal for @handmade_ui mac app today

@rezailmi very cool idea! it uses AI to apply style changes without throwing in inline styles right?

I’m honoured to be joining 𝕏 to lead design. I believe this is the most important platform in the world, and I can’t think of a more exciting place to help shape the future. I’m looking forward to working closely with @elonmusk, @nikitabier, and the rest of the team. I’m grateful for the opportunity, humbled to be part of it, and can't wait to get started!

i built a dashboard for my claude code sessions: 254 sessions across 58 projects over 3 months 🤖🧚‍♀️ - 3d terrain map of token usage over time - session cards with first/last prompts, hover to expand - click to resume any past session in-browser - activity heatmaps, project treemaps code available for my x subscribers <3

Exactly what triggers this tweet. Also the fact that they ban apps like Replit, doesn't help. That's why I think this should be on the web, kinda like how people do personal blogs. Probably something like showHN with upvote downvote could work, and a community run curated collections could be fun too!

@rezailmi Been thinking about this as well. As the App Store couldn’t keep up with their review process due to the flood of new app slops, what would be a better mechanism? A committee of reviewers supercharged with AI? Public upvote-downvote à la Reddit? Fully automated AI curators?

I have been thinking on how can I remove the editor panel completely and bringing the direct manipulation purely contextual on canvas. Accurate detection on what an instance v component is the first step, resize, adjust padding, double click to edit text, add inline comments, and more coming. An ideal editing experience is when the tool present the right tool set based on what I’m selecting and it predicts my intent. This is now available on latest version btw.

Browsers have developer tools. They need designer tools, too. Would be cool if someone made a browser plugin to visually manipulate the DOM with familiar handles. Waiting for that a ha “Firebug” moment. Agentation from @benjitaylor is a great first approach at this.
