@blegg2 @TrackGazette Gout Gout was educated at Ipswich Grammar. He was born in Queensland to parents who arrived in Australia years earlier. He is as Australian as Billy Hughes, Tony Abbott, Olivia Newton-John, Jimmy Barnes & John Farnham, althought those 5 were all born overseas.

@Peter_Fitz Small ones for homes is fine. Large ones for entire grids don't work and the cost is prohibitive.
This stuff from the AFR is so predictable it's pretty much a ritual now: campaign ceaselessly for "tax reform"; the moment anyone suggests actual reform, @Johnkehoe23 and other buffoons give a platform for vested interests to insist it will lead to economic apocalypse
@sszinglehead Farrell is a legend. He won back our trade with China after Morrison fucked it. (the Chinese wouldn't even pick up the phone for Tehan!) Big trade deals with India, Britain, Canada and now the EU. The biggest winners are the farmers and Canavan punches down on it all! Idiot!
My calls for self regulation of the Islamic faith in Australia is requiring nothing more of Islamic religious leaders than any other faiths in Australia. I am asking for Islamic leaders to regulate and provide stronger protections against radicalisation within the Islamic faith community for the benefits of their own community and our wider Australian society. As I said in the speech, if there similar weaknesses in other faiths, including my own, the same requirements should apply.
