Canadians shouldn’t be paying anything more than 90 cents a litre. It’s an absolute joke how much we pay, it’s time to build cleaning reserves and refineries, clean our own oil and start profiting more from it.

This is actually paying you to go to school and learn the trades! If you can’t find work, this is a great opportunity to get into the trades in Texas and electrician makes $250,000 a year

Unfortunately, lithium batteries contain ALL the ingredients (including the oxygen) necessary for this type of combustion. You can submerge a burning battery in water, and it will continue to burn.
The ONLY thing fire fighters can do is try to limit what else near it gets burnt.

@SteveSaretsky @Beefshaver Steve, do you think there’s a middle ground? If a tenant wants a pet, they could provide a deposit to cover cleaning or damage after they leave. I can’t help but think that while they’re living there, it’s their home—so having a pet seems reasonable with the right safeguards.

Not gonna lie, I haven’t raised rent on my tenants since May 2021.
Same renters, almost 5 years now… just kept it the same.
And now I’m watching rents across the GTA start to come down, incentives popping up everywhere just to fill units.
Makes you think… chasing higher rent isn’t always the move. Keeping good tenants might’ve been the better play all along.

On the off chance Alberta pulls this off, I do wonder how many Americans would move up there just to be part of it. Would be interesting to be a part of something young, new, optimistic right here in our back yard. A brand new government like that might hit "reset" on all sorts of restrictive laws; might make it easier to build and do business -- might have cheap housing, lots of good-paying work. More importantly, the people there would be anything but demoralized. Feeling the weight of their own power, looking out at the future, rekindling the spirit of what remains of the great nation of Canada. High chance a giant percentage of Canada's best would move there immediately. That kind of energy is hard to find these days; I bet many would travel or even emigrate to Alberta just to be a part of it.
