@adambsilver One result does not mean it’s *the* result the user is looking for. Automatically navigating them away from search can disrupt their flow within the UI. The user should be shown the single result.

Search UX question If searching for something returns 1 result, should the user: a) be taken directly there b) be taken to the results page with 1 item in the list c) something else Which would you go for and why?

@asmartbear @johncutlefish I put compound in quotes intending to define it in everyday terms. In everyday language I take it to simply mean that — it builds on the past increases. No specific rate associated with common language here given the general domain presented. That was my thinking anyway.

@winsh I don't know how people see this and still want to say it's reincarnation or a special gift the kid has. You can clearly see his mom guiding him through his emotions. His parents are doing a great job. I had the privilege of working with a children's book author who teaches this.

@johncutlefish Presentations come across as already well-thought and fully baked ideas. The setup of a presentation tries to “convince” the auidence. And I am not saying that the presenters always have an intention of convincing. It’s the setup.

I never heard a developer saying "I wish I would have not tested my code".
