The RFU has radically and fundamentally changed rugby in England by outlawing all tackles above the waist in the community game. The RFU council voted it through based on evident. Initial soundings from the community game are not positive.

🚨BREAKING🚨 The RFU have confirmed that tackle height will be lowered in the community game from July 2023. This was voted for by the RFU Council with the intention of improving player safety. Tackle height is being set at the waist or below.
