What I would do to fix the 2026 Mets immediately, if I were Steve Cohen: 1. Fire David Stearns today. 2. Fire Carlos Mendoza today. 3. Hire John Frascella as GM. 4. Promote Carlos Beltran to Manager. 5. Promote JD Martinez to Bench Coach. 6. Trade Brett Baty & Ronny Mauricio to the Giants for Luis Arraez. 7. Trade Francisco Lindor & Luis Robert to the Mariners for Randy Arozarena. 8. Trade Will Watson, pitching prospect, to the Rockies for outfielder Mickey Moniak. 9. Have Christian Scott replace David Peterson in the rotation. 10. Put Peterson in the bullpen, demote Austin Warren. 11. Promote Huascar Brazoban to Closer. Devin Williams' stuff is terrible, he is a middle reliever at best. 12. Put Jorge Polanco on the IL, call up Ryan Clifford. 13. My lineup would be: 1. Randy Arozarena LF 2. Luis Arraez 2B 3. Juan Soto RF 4. Mickey Moniak CF 5. Bo Bichette SS 6. Francisco Alvarez C 7. MJ Melendez DH 8. Mark Vientos 3B 9.
