What @realDonaldTrump is proposing is financial ignorance. Look at the comparative amortization schedules. On a $500k home at 6.5 percent by year 6 under a 50 year loan you have paid $200k in payments and the principal has only come down $10k. The young should be livid at older Boomer generations that have been setting this type of craze up via policy since Reagan.
