You need to understand that you are probably 2-3 months away from changing the trajectory of your life forever Head down for 2-3 months and the results will be great, but what's even greater is the type of person you end up becoming There is a big difference between a person that can go head down for 2-3 months and a person that can't The only way to be that person is to do it. You have nothing to lose. Literally nothing to lose All to gain.

@techsaleshackz I’m at a competitor to Decagon. We were neck and neck with them about a year ago and they really pulled away. Crazy company

I am a huge fan of SDRs taking advantage of what is being described here But I do think it's fairly rare and can be hard to find
Noah Gordon@Kates_AI

@techsaleshackz Why is this so surprising to you? Fast growing startups regularly promo BDRs to AEs. Decagon has an enterprise sales focus.

The best thing you can do to turn into a top performer in Tech Sales, fast: Learn from the top performers on your teams. We live in a world where essentially everything is recorded from cold calls to disco calls to demos It's all right there in front of you... Genuinely right in front of you You don't even need to grab time anymore to learn from the best W/ that said... Best thing I ever did when I was an SDR was grab 1:1 time w/ top performers on my team Learn from the best Don't reinvent the wheel

$400k+ OTE for top sellers probs what is needed to be done if ur a start up and ur looking to hire A players But it just depends. You can find A players at start ups that are on the downward slope, and 300k-350k ote will do the trick But if you're trying to pull a guy from a company that is ascending still, yeah you are going to need to throw it all at them

My DMs have exploded the last few weeks with job opps. It’s really a tough time to get a top performing seller to move though. Why would top seller move in this market if things are humming? I’d imagine it would have to include an insane ramp guarantee, signing bonus, etc
Techsaleshackz@techsaleshackz

I don't think people realize how much of a commodity a good seller is All of the best start ups in SF/NYC HAVE to find them to get to where they are trying to go Especially at the Enterprise level Very hard to find
