What should scare the hell out of you is that you seldom hear from people who actually work in nuclear power, and know that it's complete chaos inside the Protected Area. Instead you just hear from clueless cheerleaders on the sidelines. It's a low integrity environment where people, mostly uneducated, keep their heads down and take their bagfuls of money for staying quiet. Nothing is being done to revitalize the industry and maybe that's for the better. Instead, it should be dismantled and redefined from scratch with new nuclear technologies. Until we have a long-term solution for spent fuel, it's going to continue on its slow, 4-decade long decline. My np career began in 1989.

@Shawn_Farash Start a movement. "Ten and out." if a rep is still in office after 10 years, it's up to us to vote them out. It just needs to be a coordinated effort to avoid fragmentation.
