@JLarky Gitflow or not you'll have to rebase one way or another. I tell you a trick: leverage git town: I use git town sync (along with git flow start and git flow finish). Things are very smooth. Of course you can go full on git town and operate with git town hack and git town ship.

I'm convinced that gitflow is a psyop and no one ever done that in practice because it takes like 30 seconds of thinking before you realize this is completely unfeasible and a huge waste of everyone's time
