@heynavtoor Genius! What's stopping you from actually making an API and $5 a month unlimited sends SaaS... Most plans have unlimited sms?

🚨 Twilio charges $0.0079 per SMS. Someone just turned any old Android phone into a free SMS gateway. Unlimited messages. $0. It's called SMS Gateway for Android. Install it on any Android phone. It becomes a full SMS sending and receiving server with an API. No Twilio. No MessageBird. No per-message pricing. No contracts. Just an old phone and a SIM card. Here's what's inside this thing: → Send and receive SMS through a REST API from any app or service → Works with any Android phone running 5.0 or newer → End-to-end encryption. Messages are encrypted before they leave the device. → Multi-SIM support. Use multiple SIM cards on one phone. → Multi-device support. Connect multiple phones to the same account. → Real-time webhooks for incoming messages → Multipart messages with auto-splitting for long texts → Track delivery status of every message in real time → No registration required. No email. No account in local mode. Here's the wildest part: That old Android phone in your drawer that you haven't touched in 2 years? Install this app. Insert a SIM card. You now have your own private SMS infrastructure. Two-factor authentication. Order confirmations. Appointment reminders. Notification alerts. All the things startups pay Twilio thousands a month for. Free. Running on a phone you already own. Startups spend $500 to $5,000/month on SMS APIs. This costs the price of a SIM card. 875 GitHub stars. 359 commits. Apache 2.0 License. 100% Open Source.

@ImMeme0 I don't know the full story, but babies are part of our society, and they cry... People forget that they were babies once too. Feel terrible for the parents, it's so stressful.

🚨BREAKING: Video of a young couple with a baby being kicked off an Allegiant Air flight is going viral. Young couple on a delayed flight tried to keep their baby girl cool after she became overheated by lightly dressing her down. She was crying a lot, and her mother was trying not to bother other passengers. While most understood the stressful situation, a flight attendant falsely claimed the baby had a fever and even asked for a birth certificate, using it as an excuse to remove the family, adding unnecessary fear and stress to an already difficult moment.

@foolishyangban For what it will cost to build, you can just pay the person in Ottawa to stay in Ottawa and not work at all. We're paying 3-4x per KM if we come in on budget (we won't). To this day no one has been held accountable for the Eglinton Crosstown.

HSR would allow people in Ottawa to take jobs in Toronto and vice versa. Same for Montreal and Ottawa (<1 hr). No traffic, predictable schedules. You could also catch hockey, baseball, and basketball games without booking accommodations!

I think Canada should just randomly select a Canadian taxpayer and give them $11.5 million dollars instead of Feminist Inclusive Climate Action in Tunisia. Just make it like a lottery. It’ll be fun.

Qwen3.5 27B vs Gemma4 31B | Canvas Creativity Test Why HTML Canvas? Two reasons: 1. It's unforgiving, one small mistake and the whole thing breaks 2. We kept prompts short to test real creativity, not instruction following 4 rounds: - Analog Clock - Hyperspace Tunnel - Growing Tree - Black Hole Both nailed the clock, but the other three is where it gets interesting. Looking forward to Qwen3.6 open-weight release!

Everyone is talking about Gemma 4, but I haven't seen anyone apply it to anything... Does anyone have and task or project they powered with it? I tried and it was pulling teeth, if you are having success with it, please share your project link. riteshkhanna.com/blog/gemma4-wo…

@georgebell Everyone wants HSR, we just need to make sure the price tag is right and there is accountability... This has the potential to be the Eglinton crosstown at scale.

Toronto and Montreal need to create an official lobbying group that supports HSR. Needs to include folks like hotels, tourism, BIA, local businesses, sports teams, banks, environmental orgs, entertainment venues, musicians, etc. should be spearheaded by both municipal governments and include a public lobbying component with locals calling their MPs etc. Need to be louder than the conservatives and the farmers on this…
