@trin_second @abdoulore Yes, I do know that. I know it’s a deep conversation, but the demographic changes require a solution! Otherwise big trouble ahead - who will take care of elders and pay tax to help? But it’s complex, I admit.

@TanningChatumm @abdoulore それも幾らかはイメージで語って居る様に思います。日本では警察が大変な思いで捕まえた外国人を、そもそも起訴もしない事がしばしば問題になっています。

@trin_second @abdoulore I say that as someone who has seen how unfair how legal system is - and often based on race. Maybe they are that good but it seems like if the police get you, you are done. And I suspect there are more innocents than the numbers say. Maybe not many, but some.

@trin_second @abdoulore Of course! Maybe not you but you must admit Japan is resistant to immigrants for not the best reasons. They are mostly good, they built America! There’s bad ones but we can’t judge everyone based on that. And Japan has an interesting justice system - 98% convictions is unlikely?

@TanningChatumm @abdoulore 犯罪や違法行為さえ無ければ嫌いはしません。それは日本人同士でも同じです。事実問題の認定や法的な処罰を差別とは言いませんから。

@trin_second @abdoulore Yes it lies just below the surface so we try not to admit it. My understanding is you have some similar issues with immigrants and not welcoming them, even as the population ages. Is that correct?

@trin_second I was raised around 1%er bikers. My uncle is a Bandito. I used to hang out with a lot of crips in my 20s. I've spent many hours exposed to and being friends with stone cold killers. I've also played Yakuza. Don't mess with gangsters anywhere. They're dangerous.

ゲームYAKUZAのヒットの影響でヤクザ文化を大きく勘違いして遊びに来る海外の方もおいのだけど、彼らは純粋な犯罪組織だよ。外国人の無邪気な好奇心を笑って許してはくれないから、絶対に交流を持とうなんてしちゃいけないよ。たまにそういう人が現れて心配なんだ。

@trin_second I know that culturally, tattoos are taboo in Japan, so I can see why you'd mention it. It's worth mentioning that most of us under 50 have tattoos. I've got plenty. I regret most of them, but they're there. We try to avoid the face tattoo people.
