@JESnowden A few years ago I went deep diving for a legitimate, or even just a youtube long form video on the early history of wrestling. It was pretty shocking to me the lack of options out there, I pretty much had to piece it together from wiki/academic sources.

@JESnowden Hogan was big to his generation and he had a brief period of cross-over appeal. But it really wasn’t something that had not happened before with wrestling figures. Scale was a bit different because of the consolidation and push by Vince. People trying to act like he was The Rock.
