@DaveSchinkel we're not going to do this in-app right now, but it's a great use case for triggers. our CEO wrote the most loud and most jolting version on a whim which you can clone and configure to something less insane: tuple.app/triggers/direc…
@DaveSchinkel I hear you - the visual is easy to miss on big monitors in particular. to reconfirm, the sound does play for you when folks join but you don't notice it either?
@DaveSchinkel agreed! when someone joins a call, users should get this notification in the top right. provided you have "Play ringtones" enabled in Audio settings, you should also hear a chime. let us know if one or neither of those is happening and we'll investigate
I hope @dhh and @OmarchyLinux can convince companies to release Linux clients of devtools when they already release Windows and Mac versions. @tuple where's the Linux Version?
Yesterday was a ton of fun, particularly talking about our vision on TBPN
I’m excited to tell more of the Railway story; we’re just scratching the surface
So, any podcasts/media people like?
@tuple would u reconsider linux development if the frontend client is open-sourced, so that other developers can help develop the client.
My team uses tuple but because I use Linux i found myself resorting to discord, but discord isn't as seamless compared to tuple.
I know about @tuple for less than 1 minute. It's a pair-programming app, like zoom / meet but purpose-built for coding. I haven't used the product, it just popped up in my feed.
But if there was such a thing as "product-name fit", Tuple would be the embodiment. PERFECT NAME.
@tuple@elliotarledge tried out the cli beta but without bidirectional sharing it's sadly not very useful to me yet. UI and UX on MacOS is great though so excited to hear it's coming.
timelapse #86 (15 hrs):
- got my first OOM on 8xB200 node
- defaulting back to grok-code-fast-1, the fastest reliable coding model with by far most intuitive instruction following, combined with grok 4 fast reasoning to plan before i let grok code work its magic
- drank 2 large tim hortons iced capps, loaded myself w/ creatine, daily nootropics
- tried out gpt-5-codex but it simply doesnt match the speed i require when i go deep into one thing at a time sequentially
- got caught watching youtube videos in the middle, need to make sure i block any and all content that could get in my way
- caught up on all book revisions so getting super ahead with other chapters
- developed an overnight addiction to switching color themes in cursor
- did some pair programming w/ @Nottlespike using @tuple on free trial
- applying for O-1
@jonas Great suggestion! It's not native in the app, but we figured out a slick way to do it just for you. Check out this video and gist: gist.github.com/elimgoodman/d5…
Let us know if this works for you!
@tuple been loving using tuple over the past two weeks. One thing I'd really like: I want to ship full audio/video recordings to my own S3 so I can have gemini analyze them
Is this possible somehow? I'd literally pay money for this. I'd like my whole company to run on tuple and then I'd like access to all recordings please
