This is the difference a @UKLabour government makes. Unlike the Tories who splurged billions to pay the energy bills of high-earners, @Keir_Starmer and @RachelReevesMP are providing targeted support only to those who need it. This is a government that treats taxpayers’ money with respect.

@JoStevensLabour Oh yes, it’s performative nonsense. Nonetheless, perhaps you could get Keir Jong-un to answer a damn question. Not for Reform, but to at least pretend @UKLabour isn’t actively destroying our democracy… For the public who are sick of his obfuscation, equivocation and disrespect.

I hate how our media elite's disregard for the safety of our Muslim communities forces us into some kind of gross competitive, comparative game of one type of violent racist hatred against another. But as far as I know this arson attack on a Mosque made no front pages, nor was it raised in PMQs, nor was damaged property replaced by the state.

An Afghan woman forced to marry the man who raped her. CNN reports. Because the rapist (right) was married, the victim was sent to prison for adultery and gave birth there. For the sake of her newborn daughter, she reluctantly agreed to the marriage. We must not allow Islamic law to be brought into Japan. - 加藤 健 @JapanLobby

On the contrary, "Smash the gangs" has resulted in over 4000 arrests, 900 gangs smashed, half the boats attempting to launch being stopped, thousands of rubber boats & motors seized, importers closed down & 38,000 people with no right to be here deported *in 1 year* under Labour.

The answer, @moveincircles, is that a writer — a *real* writer — isn't driven by money. They're driven by the higher motives — paranoid narcissism, a pathological need for validation, burning spite et cetera.

The moment you finally realise you’re leading the most authoritarian government in our country’s history: 1️⃣ Introducing an official definition of “anti-Muslim hostility” that silences legitimate criticism of religion — 18 years after Parliament abolished such laws. 2️⃣ Removing the right of most defendants to have a jury trial, in the biggest assault on English liberty in over 800 years. 3️⃣ Requiring pub landlords to monitor customers’ private conversations to protect staff from remarks, comments, or jokes they may find “offensive”. 4️⃣ Clamping down on lawful social media posts, arresting an Irish comedian for gender-critical tweets and even threatening to ban access to X in the UK. It’s not a great look, is it, Prime Minister…
