Dear @Jemima_Khan, basically what he is saying is that Pakistan Govt can’t afford to give them Visas because traveling on Visa can have British Govt protection. They want the sons to travel on NICOP so that they can apply arbitrary laws, puppet judges and threaten them with consequences. We shall all ask them “what are they trying to hide”. Also, visa processing takes just one day, why have they taken 2+ month for a simple task. Why are they so scared?

@Jemima_Khan So that means your NICOP narrative was fake. And, even if they travel on nicop being a British citizen, they’d still have rights as British citizen. The gov is not that stupid - when the minister himself is giving you a legal way to travel for your sons (VIP treatment already)

We all know that the reason you are refusing their visas and recommending they travel on NICOP cards (which they don’t have presently) is because that way they will have no British protection if you choose to arrest them on arrival.

When I first visited Afghanistan in 2024, I went to the “Omid” (Hope) drug rehabilitation centre in Kabul, which was bombed by Pakistan last night. Afghanistan has one of the most successful opium addiction rehabilitation programmes in the world. This is despite 20 years of a brutal US-led NATO occupation that proliferated opium usage domestically and monopolised its global exportation. I met former addicts who had become Huffadh of the Quran, as well as electricians, tailors, carpenters, bricklayers, and teachers of Pashto, while others were studying English. Many had completely rebuilt their lives. Some had spent just three months there and never wanted to leave, choosing instead to stay on as mentors and volunteers to help others recover. In the space of just a few years, opium addiction across parts of the country had dropped so significantly that in many towns and cities it had become almost non-existent. To now see Pakistan bomb the same rehabilitation centre, killing at least 400 civilians, is deeply disturbing. Those killed were patients, people who had entered that centre with hope. Muslims in the process of turning their lives around, who could have gone on to become Quran teachers, labourers, and contributors to their society. To carry out such an attack in the concluding nights of Ramadan, at a time when the Muslim world is already in turmoil, is utterly shameful, regardless of any anti-terrorism justification put forward by Pakistan. My sons Sulaiman & @kasim_khan_1999 applied for visas in January (again… ) to allow them to visit their father @ImranKhanPTI in Pakistan. The Pakistan consulate states that online visa processing normally takes 7–10 working days. It has now been 60 days. This despite the public promise that they could safely travel there to see their father after 4 years, made by both Defence Minister @khawajaMAsif to @mehdirhasan & PM spokesperson @mosharrafzaidi to @SkyYaldaHakim Meanwhile, they are not allowed to speak to him on the phone, nor send him a letter. They haven’t seen him since 2022 after he was shot in an assassination attempt. This is an appeal directly to Pakisan’s PM @CMShehbaz to please allow Imran Khan’s two sons to see their father asap, particularly since, by all accounts, his health is in decline.

This was less of a podcast & more of an intellectual masturbation session. For @qaiseraraja, it's routine to throw mud on other people but it was unfortunate to see that he's dragging young minds like @husnayn_ down the rabbit of red pilled disco molvis. So, what was the podcast about? Not much was discussed except most of the conversation was hijacked by QAR, who was tossing around terms like "epistemology, eschatology, intellectual, much deeper" & other difficult to pronounce brain farts in his fake British accent while still mispronouncing words. The man loves cosplaying as the reincarnated version of Ghazali. There was plenty of bitching against people who generally ignore QAR.
