Look I get its only 7 games, BUT: 6-66 (with 10 walks) is about as abysmal of a start I could have imagined for Julio/Naylor/Cal. Cal progressed against the Yankees but it's not like these guys are getting unlucky, they flat out look lost at the plate.

Still rooting for Team USA but damn… these games have been boring as hell to watch.
Save me the “this is the American way to play the game” speech. As a former big leaguer you hear all the time at nauseam… we play a kid’s game.
Well damn… act like it. Have some fun. Celebrate these moments. The DR, Venezuela, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico… those boys are playing with real juice and you can feel it through the TV.
Right now Team USA look dry as hell. I’m talking like somebody just ate a whole pack of saltine crackers in the desert with no water in sight.
Still rocking with the boys… but somebody please bring that Adam Jones 2017 energy. 🇺🇸⚾️

About now would be the tip of the last game of the 1st round in the Pac-12 tournament between some mid schools and Bill Walton would be taking us on a journey to parts unknown. I miss that vibe a lot this time of year ☮️🏀

@hawkblogger I’m guessing the number of times they mentioned K9, Mafe, and Coby Bryant prior to January 2026 is zero. And honestly, this is probably the first time this program even so much as put Boye or Bryant’s name on a graphic.

The one negative of the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl. You will lose a ton of talent, everyone will be overpaid.
Kenneth Walker gets three-years up to $45M, $15M a year.
Coby Bryant gets three-years, $40M, $13.3M a year.
Bummer to see them go, but not worth it money wise for the Seahawks.

STORYBOOK STUFF: Reece Jenkin’s Colfax boys just capped an undefeated 28-0 season with a state championship. Reece’s son Adrik led the way with a 33 point 12 rebound double double. Immediately after winning, Adrik picked up his dad’s picture and hugged mom Bre and sister Allie.

Emotional scene tonight in Colfax as beloved boys basketball head coach Reece Jenkin, battling stage 4 cancer, returned to the gym not to coach, but to support son Adrik on Senior Night. Colfax capped an undefeated regular season and Adrik led the way with 38 points in the win.
