PRESS STATEMENT 29-03-2026 RESIGNATION FROM THE NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY (NNPP) I wish to formally announce my resignation from the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) with immediate effect. I seize this opportunity to express my profound gratitude for the honour and privilege of serving as the Party’s National Leader and its Presidential Candidate in the 2023 General Elections. As a committed and bonafide member of the party, this was not an easy decision to make. However, considering the current trajectory of the nation’s political landscape, which calls for strategic realignment, I have found it necessary to identify with another political platform that offers the best opportunity to effectively change the nation. I extend my deepest appreciation to the National Chairman, Ajuji Ahmed and the entire National Working Committee for their steadfast support throughout my time. I also thank the Board of Trustees, the National Executive Committee, and all levels of leadership across the party — from the ward to the state level, as well as the legacy members of the party and all followers of the Kwankwasiyya Movement for their dedication and commitment to our shared mission. We shall continue to collaborate and work together towards charting a better and more prosperous future for our dear nation. Signed, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE Former Kano State Governor, 2023 Presidential Candidate, New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP)

Many of you cannot afford the steady electricity you are clamoring for. Most Nigerians on Band A are economical with their electricity usage but you are against solar because you want to power everything all at once.

EndSARS started when Yahoo boys got tired of settling policemen in the SouthSouth. Even their girlfriends came out to protest. Then the protest was moved to Lagos. Yahoo boys heavily sponsored the protest. Governor Sanwo-olu came, took their request to Abuja and got their 5 for 5 request approved. Immediately he came back, they change it from EndSARS to EndBadGovt. That was when people realized the protest wasn't about SARS anymore.

@Seyi_shy1 @de_generalnoni @EstherUmoh10 The fact that you think so, shows your lack of exposure, a ministerial position should be awarded based on, merit, not as a political gift to loyalist secondly it’s expected you think the way you do anyways, and just plain all laughable

@HighChiefOkoro If the records Obi has been asking you to go and verify for years now were fake, you would have been flooding us with proof, but you love to bask in mediocrity so the person who tastes mics will forever sound more appeasing to you

High Chief Lawrence Igbins Okoro
Tunde Ednut is openly backing Peter Obi, yet he attacks others for supporting candidates of their choice. If he truly believes in Obi’s record, his platform should be flooded with clear, verifiable achievements from his time as governor. Instead, it’s mostly pressure and gaslighting directed at those who disagree. In politics, everyone has the right to choose who they support. Expecting people to think the same way you do is clear stupidity.

When finished the New Jos Stadium will be the most beautiful sports edifice in Nigeria. Lots of land left for multiple training pitches, an indoor sports hall, swimming pool, velodrome. Needs a new pitch too. Started in 1986, shamefully it remains unfinished. #Jos #PlateauState

He will not talk about how easy it is to get 1m in Nigeria vs almost impossible in the other countries he mentioned. How many people in America earn $1m a month vs 1m naira in Nigeria? That should let any clear minded person know that there's more to currencies. But these are the shallow and narrow minded people that fill this internet space.

“$1 million can buy you a house in America. £1 million can buy you a house in the UK. 1 million rands can buy you a house in South Africa. ₦1 million can’t rent you a place in Nigeria. I hope you guys understand how cooked Nigeria is?” — Man laments.
