Corporate cards aren't an option for agents. They need wallets. But most providers still won't let them pay autonomously. That's the gap. We're building the permissionless compute layer on BASE. 300+ models, pay per call via x402, premium access through staking.

“We’re doing a lot of machine-to-machine payments.” Brian Armstrong @brian_armstrong founder of Coinbase on giving AI agents stablecoin wallets. “If you're an agent trying to get work done you either have to bug your human every time: "Will you approve this purchase?" Or you can tell the agent just go do this and the work will get done. The AI agents might need to spin up AWS resources or get through a paywall on the internet to read some research paper or buy a domain name or spin up a marketing program etc.. If you really want to treat them like digital employees, they need to have a corporate card kind of thing and traditional corporate cards can't be issued to non-human entities, and so we're giving agents stablecoin wallets. This is all very new in the last few months, but it's been getting a lot of traction.”

@VAPI_Protocol Agents don’t need bank accounts. They need programmable money ⚡ Wallet-native payments + permissionless compute is the missing layer for autonomous AI economies

@VAPI_Protocol AI agents need native internet finance, not legacy payment rails Wallet-based access, autonomous payments, permissionless compute that’s the infrastructure layer the next generation of agents will run on
