FBNeo doesn't have the best frame pacing logic, which is why it runs a bit slower

I finally tried the 3S-ARM core for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on MiSTer… and WOW. Performance amazing. Playing it on a real arcade cabinet via Mistercade feels insane. PS2 based core, this is the closest I’ve felt to the real arcade experience 🔥🕹️ youtu.be/QZH9WfgCM8U

@3sx_dev Loving the mister port that runs on the ARM processor....is the Pi Port out yet? I have a pi 5 so would be cool to try that too

@3sx_dev Are you planning this to be optional? Like a settings toggle between PS2 and Arcade behavior.
Arcade accuracy is neat for the port, but I also think the FGC has an unhealthy rejection of patches and updates too. I would love to see glitch fixes as much as version settings.

@Yetomy_Corp Native ports are usually much more performant than emulation
With source code you can do whatever you want. On the other hand, patching arcade ROMs is much more time consuming, error-prone and limiting

@MineCreeperLPs Combo trials are in the backlog, but they'll have to wait until after 1.0 is out. They would be nice to have, but not high priority

@3sx_dev Do you think it would be possible to get the trials from 3s Online from PS3 and Arcade working? I feel like those were pretty decent training tools for new players.

@badjab326 iOS and Android shouldn't be too hard to support
DEMIS98 and giblet have put a lot of effort into porting the game to PSP
@Old_Man_Rukus is working on a Wii U port
Raspberry Pi is a priority too

Regarding decomps. NG and 2I are very similar to 3S in terms of code structure. If you wanna start a decomp of one of these games, come to our discord (link in GitHub readme) and I'll make sure to onboard you

To be honest folks, I have been watching this project very closely. I don't really care for 3rd strike one way or another (I have the real CPS3 boards anyway), but the whole decompilation thing and the way he's going about it with the project goals... I really do think this is going to be the standard for these kinds of efforts, and I do think this is likely going to be the best and most accurate way to play this game when all is said and done. He's got me on board, I think I am going to investigate doing a decomp project in the future. I am sold!

A huge blocker for the 1.0 release is arcade accuracy To iron out discrepancies, I built a toolkit that runs Fightcade replays in 3SX while comparing engine state I'm also working on decompiling the CPS3 version to ensure the engine is 100% arcade-accurate
