I didn't. I used a Christian private school for my son's education. I get what you are talking about, really I do. Current social climate says that diligence is important to me. And if I didn't trust the social climate before, then I am not starting now. No parent chaperones is a red flag.

@lisaawrites What helps is not pushing harder. It is: • reducing load, not adding more • taking real rest (not just scrolling) • setting small, doable tasks • asking for support, even if it feels uncomfortable You are not broken. You are just exhausted.

Sorry, but I'm with her. In the previous "world" where there was more implicit trust between parents and institutions then maybe. But considering how there have been too many high profile cases of schools (or activist teachers) that have completely broken the unwritten contract between parents and schools. Hard no.
