Why So Many Kashmiri Families Feel Broke Despite Big Homes In Kashmir, a quiet financial contradiction is shaping everyday life. Grand homes, valuable land, and visible prosperity create an image of wealth—but behind closed doors, many families are struggling to manage monthly expenses. This story explores how asset-rich households are increasingly becoming cash-poor, caught between rising costs, social expectations, and limited income streams. From mounting bills and dependence on a single earning source to the absence of financial planning and literacy, the report sheds light on why stability feels fragile despite apparent success. It is a closer look at the hidden stress, the cultural pressures, and the urgent need for financial awareness in a society where wealth is visible—but liquidity is missing. #KashmirEconomy #kashmirfamilies #cashflowcrisis #HiddenPoverty #assetrichcashpoor #financialstress #MiddleClassStruggles #FinancialAwareness #MoneyManagement #PersonalFinanceIndia #EconomicReality #RisingExpenses #CostOfLivingCrisis #financialliteracy #SavingsCrisis #indianeconomynews #householdfinances #reallifestruggles #urbankashmir #KashmirObserver #irshadmushtaq

The Iranian mullah regime still refuses to abandon its nuclear ambitions. Instead of meeting nuclear demands, it’s busy demanding cash and blackmailing the world over control of the Strait of Hormuz. Just imagine what would happen if this terror regime got a nuclear weapon... theguardian.com/world/2026/apr…

2015, after the JCPOA: U.S: Iran’s banking sanctions have been lifted! Iran: Then why can’t I transfer funds? U.S: I don’t know. 2026, after the 42-day war: Iran: The Strait of Hormuz is open in accordance with the announced regulations! U.S: Then why can’t I move ships through it? Iran: I don’t know.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Lebanon was the deal-breaker nobody is talking about enough... The nuclear issue and Hormuz get the headlines. But according to sources inside the talks, a critical breakdown came over Lebanon. The U.S. offered to convince Israel to stop strikes in Beirut first, then "gradually expand" the pause to southern Lebanon and the rest of the country. Iran wanted an immediate, full ceasefire across all of Lebanon. They couldn't bridge that gap. This is the pattern playing out exactly as predicted throughout this war. Israel's refusal to stop bombing Lebanon has now directly contributed to the collapse of U.S.-Iran peace talks. The country that wasn't even in the room in Islamabad torpedoed the negotiations from 3,000 miles away. The ceasefire clock keeps ticking. Every day without progress is a day closer to the bombs resuming. And every day Israel keeps hitting Lebanon is a day Iran can point to as proof that American commitments mean nothing. Source: Axios

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷The talks failed. Here's what actually happens next... Twenty-one hours of historic negotiations ended with Vance walking out and Iran blaming "American greed." But the details matter more than the headline. What actually broke down: Two issues. Iran won't give up Hormuz control or commit to ending enrichment. The U.S. won't unfreeze assets or accept Iranian tolls on international waters. After 21 hours, neither side moved enough on either. What didn't break down: The ceasefire is still in effect. Iran says "negotiations will continue despite remaining differences" and technical experts will exchange documents. Vance left a "final and best offer" on the table. Nobody burned the bridge. They just couldn't cross it today. Pakistan is understandably devastated. The delegation reportedly poured enormous political and diplomatic capital into making this happen. Islamabad locked down a city of two million people, deployed thousands of troops, flew fighter escorts for the Iranian delegation, and put its international credibility on the line. Now it's caught between its defense pact with Saudi Arabia and its role as Iran's mediator, with nothing to show for it yet. The realistic scenarios: Iran quietly accepts the "final offer" within days. The mood swings during talks suggest they were close on some issues. Sometimes walking out is what forces the other side to move. If Iran's economic desperation is as severe as sources inside the talks suggested, the financial pressure may override the political resistance. Pakistan or another mediator brokers a resumption. The clock runs out with no agreement and Trump faces the same decision he faced on April 8th. My read: This isn't the end. The war started because two sides couldn't bridge their differences across a table. It would be tragically fitting if it restarts for the same reason. Source: Reuters, Washington Post

Over to Asim Munir. He has to convince the Iranians to take the deal. The stronger side often makes the final offer and leaves. So the ball is now in Iran’s court. They shouldn’t have let it come down to Vance doing a presser of this nature. Because if the Iranians take the deal now then it will be taken as Iran caving in. Also, Vance’s disappointment was visible. Seemed like he really wanted a deal here.

Despite the ongoing face-to-face negotiations between Iran and the United States in Islamabad, which have reportedly advanced into technical talks on a potential peace deal to end the Iran War, fighting continues between Israel and Lebanon. In the last 24 hours alone, the Israeli Air Force reports that it has carried out over 200 strikes on Hezbollah military infrastructure and other targets in Southern Lebanon.
