The misunderstanding seems to be interpretive misconceptions of what a declaration of war is, and what it does. Military action is not limited to times of declared war. Never were. It is true that Congress alone has the power to declare a war. And that Congress has the authority to limit military actions through the war powers act. None of this is true. His entire term thus far has been terrible. He’s under water on every metric but especially on cost of living. Trump is doing that thing where if he says something enough times then he believes it to be true and hopes others will think it too except it’s not working this time. He has a -41 approval on cost of living and it’s only going to get worse. He’s at -60 with independents. @LevinInches I hate conversations based on speculation, it's unproductive. He isn’t wrong about Biden or Kamala but the argument is irrelevant. Saying, “it could be worse” isn't a solution. That mentality is what is allowing things to continue to decline. It's so stupid.
