Thank you to @AffinityWater for launching Y4s Go with the Flow topic. The children investigated water flow working scientifically & testing their predictions. They learned how vital water is, how to save water & carried out an audit of the school’s water facilities 🚰

'Change starts with' us was the theme of the Autumn Term @RAButlerAcademy Friendship Day this week. Children spent the day wearing odd socks 🧦 and working in mixed age classes to spread messages of kindness and the importance of diversity.

Year 5 have been getting hands on with some Shackleton artefacts from the Scott Polar Research Institute! All linked to the book "Ice Trap" about the explorer's incredible journey to Antarctica that the children are currently studying.

Lovely to see the sun shining in Aylmerton as some of the children take part in the Monster Trail.

Crows at the vet, magical lines and goblin snot! Busy day at @CamEdFac learning to bring phonics to life.

Congratulations to our Y6s for organising a delicious cake sale. They were inspired to raise funds for The Orangutan Foundation after hearing about the plight of these magnificent creatures & created some wonderfully themed cakes and biscuits 🧁🍰
