As with some other things, I’m not 100% on this, but Valve has openly been experimenting with it and it is definitely something they are trying to do. I can’t make any promises on launch as priority is getting Frame out but plans currently look like this will be possible this year.

When the Hardware was announced in November, the press asked Valve is a standalone port of HLA was planned. It was not, but they were interested in looking into it. @HardwareSteam is claiming that it exists. A standalone HLA port is not HLX. Those are two different things.

literally no gun sounds cooler than the spas-12 as well. if you have a spas-12 that runs well it really is as cool as it is in movies.

real take on this 90% of spas-12s people have are shot to shit. only thing that genuinely sucks about this gun is the tube disconnect, and of course the safety issue.

by tube disconnect i mean the button you hold to load it (no idea what its actual name is). there is also a actual tube disconnect.

When Moss announced it was going to flat screens it made sense. The 7th Guest absolutely makes sense too… but not another 3rd person zombie shooter. Removing the magic that made your game special and then jumping in the huge sea of traditional gaming means you better have something special and unique left afterwards to entice console and pc users to invest and I can’t see that here. Arizona was unique BECAUSE of virtual reality and I’m certain all vr games simply becoming flat screen games will not mean making money. It might even end up costing developers more in the long run.
