@BitRose5 @raybury @Rightanglenews I hire legal immigrants. I've fired many for taking drugs and drinking on the job. Their work was always sub par. Recently had a finish crew that smelled like weed every day. They messed up 1x8s at $36 per board bc they were high so they 45d some corners, butted others.

Anyone more upset at hardworking people more than the many that are here on government assistance or commit fraud needs a recheck in logic. Choose your battles. I guarantee these are peaceful, Christian, people working to send money home to their family,while others send home your taxes.

@BitRose5 @Rightanglenews Hardworking is important, but work authorization — indeed legal presence — comes first. I’ve known plenty of American roofers. Also as the work is dangerous, I want to see more of it automate. Exploiting illegal aliens doesn’t get there.

@Rightanglenews This roof was not done. They just started stripping shingles. That being said I use to run crews like this all over the Eastern US. They are the hardest working people, doing jobs quicker and better than most. This lady should be ashamed.

As much as I want them all rounded up and sent back, if you hire an illegal for a job, you damn well should have to pay them. And if you use ICE to try and get out of paying the bill, you should go to jail.

Total time: five minutes max 🇲🇽 The Mexican: You announce you are leaving. This initiates a new round of conversation. Ten minutes later, you stand up. Then you go to every single person in the room for a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and a small departing chat. Total time: thirty minutes, at least It is an entire social event you have to build into your schedule, but it’s one of the many reasons Mexican culture feels so warm and welcoming.

God loves you like you love your pet who just peed in the house. The crime doesn't stop the love and how you feel about them. Remember this the next time you are easier on your pet for a mistake than you are yourself.
