Chat UI would be a lot better with fluid or semi structured woven in commands.
opencode already does this with file tagging and subagent tagging but imagine if you could invoke certain options as if they were CLI switches.

Chat interfaces require way more cognitive work than people realize. I find it tiring sometimes. I mean, you have to remember what you want, translate it into words, guess what phrasing the AI understands, do the whole back and forth dance, and track the conversation, summarize it in your head, then maybe branch out, etc. Traditional navigation just needs you to recognize a menu item. We need both, but man sometimes a chat ui is just not necessary.

Anthropic just launched a marketplace where enterprises swap their software budget for AI replacements. GitLab. Snowflake. Replit. All on day one. Why pay 100 SaaS companies for 100 dashboards when one interface can do the job. They're not competing with OpenAI. They're competing with your entire software stack. Saas is dead, again.

There’s something I’ve been thinking about lately… most conversations in tech are the same 5 topics recycled with different words. Same SaaS advice, same AI takes, same “ship fast” threads, X payouts, MRR screenshots. I’m guilty of someone of this too and I want to get away from that. Lately I find myself gravitating toward the people who talk about other stuff. Actual products, psychology, design systems, architecture, analysis, digital nomading, weird hobbies, art, etc. The interesting founders aren’t the ones with the best MRR. They’re the ones with something going on outside of their laptop.

the Kalman Filter estimates the true state of a system from noisy measurements.
it works by combining two things:
• a model of how the system evolves
• imperfect sensor readings
it runs in a loop with two steps.
1. predict
use the system model to estimate the next state.
this gives a predicted state and uncertainty.
2. update
take a measurement.
compare it to the prediction.
correct the estimate.
the correction is weighted by the Kalman Gain:
• trust the model more → small correction
• trust the sensor more → large correction
uncertainty is tracked using the Covariance Matrix.
over time, the estimate converges.
noise gets filtered out.
the true state emerges.
used in:
• robotics localization
• self-driving cars
• drones and flight control
• GPS tracking
• sensor fusion
it is a recursive system that continuously refines its belief about reality under uncertainty.

I actively stop myself from sharing some things publicly these days.. The copycats are brutal now with AI.. Its better to just keep quiet and and build in private.. Authentic sharing will only happen in private groups in the future..
